Altogether then….’Tis the season to be jolly. So much so that advent day 23 has heralded the arrival of the new album off cut ‘Sadsack’. May it bring you festive cheer.

And what on Earth could be behind today’s advent door number 22? Why, it’s our very sting quartet*

Is it door 21 already? Wow. As if you needed anymore encouragement to vote for So Long St Christopher as Daytrotter’s song of the year, here comes a lovely video of the session to remind you how much you like it. That’s handy. Courtesy of our mate George London.

Behind door 20 is a hand on a spring that pops out and pokes you in the middle of your forehead until you vote for us. Oh go on. It’s Christmas.

On the 18th day of Xmas Goldheart give to you: a live recording from our last show. For those of you who missed our London residency here is snippet of it in the form of a raucous, out of tune, drunken version of our smash hit Oh Really.

Behind Advent door 17: The last fare well to Luzern

On the 16th day of advent Goldheart Assembly gave to you…. The 12 days of Christmas. Sing with all the family. Or not.

Door 15. It’s a Christmas farewell to our mates These Single Spies. GHA have enjoyed years of gigs, collaborations, defections, and all the rest of it with these chaps. And like the Rock Garden where it all started, time has now deemed them a beautiful transparent shrine of nothingness. Heads up though - among other places, you can still find them hiding amongst the chaos of our new album. So look out for that, and here’s to an awesome band. All things must pass away. (tear)

Door Number 13: Roy White &The Truemen singing Jesus Wheel. The only known performance of a Goldheart Assembly cover, probably ever. Write in if you know of any others.

Behind advent door number 12. A look into the last dithers of recording the new record to be out in 2012: Part 6 of adventures in Luzern, home in a dimly lit studio*

Good evening. Advent day 11 has heralded a video and song about Christmas trees. How banal.
